John and Joy Green run the Railway Tavern which is situated right opposite the Chelmsford Railway Station and a mere 100 yards from the Bus Station on Duke Street. This makes it the ideal place to meet friends for lunch or a drink whilst waiting for a bus or train and in the evenings as a meeting place before going to clubs etc. The Railway is a pleasant pub to sit and chat to friends.
