The Kilkeney Inn, Cheltenham

A pub serving food in Cheltenham.

What was once 19th Century Stone Cottages for Agricultural Workers has since become the Traditional Inn that is the Kilkeney. Situated in the beautiful rolling landscapes of the windswept corner of the Cotswolds; just outside the village of Andoversford. Wherever you turn your eye, the Inn is oozing with character and history. The doors re-opened over 2 years ago now and we have become exceptionally well established, described by a customer as ‘the hidden gem of the Cotswolds’.

Our classic, golden Amstel Beer, with its very distinctive and mildly bitter taste, has over the years become well known beyond the borders of its native country.

Tasting Notes:

Bombardier 4.1 The Eagle Brewery

Wells Bombardier is an iconic real beer loaded with distinct English brilliance. The rich, full-bodied nectar is a lingering reward for the ol' tonsils.

Estrella Damm 4.6 S.A. Damm

Estrella Damm is a Mediterranean beer, made with malt, rice and hop, brewed with 100% natural ingredients according to the original recipe from 1876

Tasting Notes: A light malty aroma on the nose with a little spice drifting through slowly.

Late Hopped Pale Ale 4.4 Severn Brewing

Severn Brewing is an independent, locally owned and operated brewery on the edge of the Cotswold escarpment overlooking the Severn Vale.

Tasting Notes:

Late Hopped Pale Ale 3.6

An English pale ale where malt sweetness is balanced with crisp bitterness and wonderful tropical fruit & citrus late hop notes. At 3.6% it's a session ale alternative that puts its regional history and pubs at its heart.

Tasting Notes:

London Stout 4.3 The Eagle Brewery

A traditionally crafted Stout with a contemporary London feel.

Tasting Notes: A dark ruby coloured stout, with a beautiful creamy head. Unlike Irish stout, this true English stout is richer and slightly sweeter.

Young's Bitter 3.7 The Eagle Brewery

With 175 years of history, this bitter was the first cask beer to carry the Red Tractor logo – proving we use the highest quality barley.

Tasting Notes:

Mortimers Orchard 5 Westons Cider

A Fresh medium-dry cider with a lightly sparkling finish

Tasting Notes: Tradition lies at the heart of Westons Cider and we use traditional methods to ensure that Mortimer’s Orchard is rich and full of flavour
