A warm family owned country pub in Potters Bar
It's a fact that everybody loves a warm and traditional pub, no matter who you are and what age you are. A pub should have a friendly atmosphere; it should be somewhere you can put your feet up and have a good time, with great food and a great drinks selection.

Here at The Chequers, we concentrate on those fundamentals, and that is exactly what we aim to provide.

Situated in the rural countryside on the outskirts of Potters Bar, The Chequers boasts a whole host of facilities and events to help you settle and feel at home.

Our facilities include a large family friendly garden, a heated smoking shelter in the garden, Sky Sports TV with a variety of sports shown, a large car park, facilities for the disabled, and baby changing units.
