The Cock Inn. A traditional country pub, serving a selection of fine real ales, ice cold lager and real cider. Freshly prepared food is served throughout the pub including a separate restaurant area. The pretty garden has a covered area in case of liquid sunshine. Wednesday night is curry night.

Pedigree. Now with added personality. They haven’t changed the taste. Just how it looks. So welcome to the new-look Pedigree, or “P” as it was first known. Strange that, looking back.

Tasting Notes: Anyway, it has a fascinating aroma, with a palate of biscuit malt, spicy hops and light fruitiness. It was renamed in a staff competition back in George Peard’s day. He was the Head Brewer at the time – that’s him on the clip. Cheers George.

Light, golden and full-flavoured with a refreshing bite. It is a 100% malt brew with English Lager malt with Styrian hops. It is an unpasteurised, living beer, matured in the bottle for a fuller, more complex, multi-dimensional, fresher taste.
