Brewed to 4.4% ABV, Bass is still brewed to an original recipe using only the finest ingredients and the experience of generations. Bass is brewed with two strains of yeast to produce a complex nutty, malty taste with subtle hop undertone.
Tasting Notes: A medium-bodied complex nutty, biscuity malt taste with roasty, caramel aromas and classic earthy, subtly floral hop notes.
The original stalwart of the Black Sheep range. First brewed in 1992, Best Bitter is the iconic Yorkshire Bitter devised and created to offer beer with real flavour and bite. A different breed
Tasting Notes: Brewed with whole flower English hops, Best Bitter packs a genuine spiky bitterness with big character. Challenger, Goldings and Fuggle hops blend to create a beautiful aroma and flavour with kicks of grassy freshness and a big peppery punch. The Maris Otter malt offers a light sweetness that balances against those big bitter characters.
Smooth, rich, fruity.
Tasting Notes: A golden, premium beer with a smooth, malty background, rich and fruity hop flavours and a refreshing finish.
An easy drinking, refreshing IPA with a hoppy taste, and aroma to give a clean dry finish
Tasting Notes: Tawny Amber in colour with a hoppy taste and aroma.
A trendsetter in the brewing industry; the original Summer ale brewed all year round. Probably the beer to receive the most awards in Britain!
Tasting Notes: An extremely pleasant bitter, straw coloured beer with a terrific fresh, hoppy aroma. This, coupled with an intense bitterness, leads to an excellent long, dry finish.
A full strength mahogany coloured beer, which has a moreishness typical of a beer possessing the fine balance of pronounced hop bitterness & aroma against a natural malty sweetness, creating a deceivingly drinkable beer.
Tasting Notes: Hoppy, bitter, malty, sweet
