The term hidden gem was coined for the Butchers Arms. This perfect pub restaurant nestles in amongst the houses on the hill above Pontardawe in the little village of Alltwen.
Quite literally full of character; a gorgeous interior, wooden floors, warm reds on the walls, open fires and huge Georgian windows look across the valley below. There’s an easy feel to the place, no stiff formalities here. We encourage a relaxed easy style for a light lunch or full dinner.
