Welcome to The Black Bull, your friendly local pub in Yarm, Cleveland. Our old pub has been serving up its own unique brand of hospitality since 1834. It's a tradition we're proud to continue, albeit with a few modern twists.

A brass plate near the bar commemorates one customer of ours who climbed down the chimney to surprise our guests; lucky for him the fire wasn't lit. Not all our real-ale fans are quite so lively of course, but our cosy pub's ancient walls vibrate to cheerful conversation every night. The gas-warmed beer garden is always popular with our eclectic crowd, especially as it has its own bar, and our tasty take on pub food is a winner for people eating out in Yarm.

Doom Bar is a perfectly balanced beer combining subtle yet complex flavours, Doom Bar is both satisfying and deliciously moreish.

Tasting Notes: “The aroma of Doom Bar combines an accomplished balance of spicy resinous hop, inviting sweet malt and delicate roasted notes. The mouth feel is a perfectly balanced and complex blend of succulent dried fruit, lightly roasted malty notes and a subtle yet assertive bitterness. The bitterness remains into the finish with dry fruity notes which implore the drinker to go back for more.” Stuart Howe, Head Brewer.
