The Red Lion can be found in the small village of Chinnor, which is located right in the heart of the beautiful Oxfordshire countryside.
We are a traditional English pub which has appeared in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide since 2006 - listed with four real ales and are Cask Marque approved, the only pub in Chinnor to have both approvals.

We have a menu to suit most tastes. Choose a wine from our fine selection to accompany your meal, which can be eaten inside or in the summer months outside on our garden terrace.

This premium cask ale has a strong following throughout the country. Courage Directors was originally brewed exclusively for the Directors of the Alton brewery, but following public demand, the beer was made available to the public.

Tasting Notes: It is genuine premium beer, pale brown in appearance with a deep rich taste.

An IPA style beer made with lots of Celeia, Columbus and Cluster Hops, on Vienna malts.
