The Golden Lion Inn is a traditional 17th century coaching inn situated on the High Street, near to the Northgate in Bridgnorth, Shropshire. The River Severn and the Severn Valley Railway are both a short walk away, as are the remains of Bridgnorth Castle, the Bridgnorth Cliff Railway and some superb views over the River Severn from the old town walls.
The Golden Lion is renowned locally for it's fine range of ales and superb home cooked food but also provides the only bed and breakfast accommodation on Bridgnorth's historic High Street.
