A beautiful old thatched pub on Cambourne Drive, Horeston Grange, just outside Nuneaton town centre, the Acorn is a traditional community pub offering warmth and character. We serve high quality pub food on our menu and also offer many delicious homemade specials. We also have regular pub quiz nights and family fun days.

Hobgoblin Gold is the latest beer carrying the little fella’s moniker, and while Gold might be lighter in colour, it’s definitely no lightweight

Tasting Notes: A combination of six hop varieties (yes six!) & an infusion of wheat and malted barley has resulted in the perfect golden beer – with a huge hop punch.

Pedigree. Now with added personality. They haven’t changed the taste. Just how it looks. So welcome to the new-look Pedigree, or “P” as it was first known. Strange that, looking back.

Tasting Notes: Anyway, it has a fascinating aroma, with a palate of biscuit malt, spicy hops and light fruitiness. It was renamed in a staff competition back in George Peard’s day. He was the Head Brewer at the time – that’s him on the clip. Cheers George.
