David Craddock, owner of two award-winning Stourbridge pubs – The Duke William and Plough & Harrow – aims to create atmospheres that he would want to drink in.
When you walk into any of his pubs you won’t be hit by jukeboxes or TVs blaring away in the background. Instead, you’ll be greeted by a hive of activity as strangers strike up conversations, musicians strum away in the corner and the friendly bar staff get ready to test your taste buds with their extensive drinks range.

Pedigree. Now with added personality. They haven’t changed the taste. Just how it looks. So welcome to the new-look Pedigree, or “P” as it was first known. Strange that, looking back.

Tasting Notes: Anyway, it has a fascinating aroma, with a palate of biscuit malt, spicy hops and light fruitiness. It was renamed in a staff competition back in George Peard’s day. He was the Head Brewer at the time – that’s him on the clip. Cheers George.
