The name of this Wetherspoon pub and lodge recalls a series of paintings by Edward Burne-Jones, illustrating the theme of Sleeping Beauty. This beer is dark, strong and well rounded; the richness of such a rotund beer is brought to an even keel by the late addition of Golding’s hops and natural plum flavouring.

Tasting Notes: Well-rounded porter with fruity, sweet notes over a backdrop of hoppy flavour. Deep red in colour but not in taste, the plum lightens the deepness on the palate.
