Hoop & Toy

A pub serving food with WiFi and a garden in Kensington.

Established in 1760, The Hoop and Toy is the oldest established pub in the Knightsbridge area. It was originally called the Hoop and Grapes. Drink % Brewery
Best Bitter 3.8 Black Sheep Brewery Plc

The original stalwart of the Black Sheep range. First brewed in 1992, Best Bitter is the iconic Yorkshire Bitter devised and created to offer beer with real flavour and bite. A different breed

Tasting Notes: Brewed with whole flower English hops, Best Bitter packs a genuine spiky bitterness with big character. Challenger, Goldings and Fuggle hops blend to create a beautiful aroma and flavour with kicks of grassy freshness and a big peppery punch. The Maris Otter malt offers a light sweetness that balances against those big bitter characters.

Greene King IPA 3.6 Greene King PLC

An easy drinking, refreshing IPA with a hoppy taste, and aroma to give a clean dry finish

Tasting Notes: Tawny Amber in colour with a hoppy taste and aroma.

Landlord 4.3 Timothy Taylor's Brewery

The drinkers' favourite, a 4.3% classic pale ale with a complex citrus and hoppy aroma

Tasting Notes: A strong classic ale with a golden amber colour. It has a scent of caramel, light fruits and roasted malt hints.

Yardbird 4.0 Greene King PLC

The legendary American jazz saxophonist Charlie Parker was nicknamed ‘Bird’ – short for ‘Yardbird’ – and this pale ale celebrates his pioneering spirit of invention and improvisation.

Tasting Notes: Full of hops and with a lasting fruity flavour, this beer is inspired by bold American pale ales.
