The Barmy Arms has a history to match with its name. Previously known as Queens Head Hotel, the owner used to assemble the Christmas tree upside down, so in 1970s it justly changed to the Barmy Arms. Despite its whacky past, the Barmy Arms is simply a beautiful riverfront pub situated in the old part of Twickenham. With over 400 years of history, the Barmy Arms is home to one of the oldest punting fishing clubs, Francis Francis Angling Club..
