The Garrick Inn is a timber framed building dating back to the 1400's. It has a rich history including plagues, fatal fires and priest holes, many former occupants still visit from the "other side". Reputed to be the oldest pub in Stratford.

The Garrick Inn is Stratford-upon-Avon's oldest and most historic pub. It is a traditional black & white pub dating back to the 14th century, where inside you will find original open beams and wood features, creating an olde worlde atmosphere. Being so central we are very popular with tourists, regulars and passers by. We are a trouble free establishment where newcomers are made to feel very welcome. We Pride ourselves on having a great, happy, chatty very welcoming team and are here for your every need.

An ale that harks back to 18th century London. Descended from brown beer, porter is a well hopped beer made from dark roasted malt. The name came about as a result of its popularity with street and river porters.

Tasting Notes: Strong, dark treacle coloured porter, with Bramling Cross hops and a malty finish.

The legendary American jazz saxophonist Charlie Parker was nicknamed ‘Bird’ – short for ‘Yardbird’ – and this pale ale celebrates his pioneering spirit of invention and improvisation.

Tasting Notes: Full of hops and with a lasting fruity flavour, this beer is inspired by bold American pale ales.
