Harry Sparrow Classic English Cyder was created to honour the man who was Aspall’s Cyder maker for over 50 years from the early 1920’s. It reflects the rich and diverse styles of cyder Harry enjoyed both making and drinking.
Tasting Notes: Mid golden to amber in colour, Aspall Harry Sparrow is a full bodied medium dry cyder that has a wonderful fruit aroma with floral and cedar wood overtones.
Mulled is made from Draught Suffolk Cyder and blended with rich mulling spices to create a delicious flavour reminiscent of bittersweet toffee apples.
Perronelle’s Blush Suffolk Cyder is inspired by our Grandmother Perronelle, who loved foraging for blackberries in the hedgerows around the orchards at Aspall.
Tasting Notes: Attractive apple and blackberry define a sweetish palate, with good acid balance and a long soft fruit finish.
Double fermenting, a technique that was used in the 1920''s by JB Chevallier, the 5th generation of cyder makers at Aspall, to produce a highly refined cyder similar in style to a sparkling wine.
Tasting Notes: A clear sparkling cyder, pale straw in colour with a fine mousse. Cuvée is dry but rounded with mouthfilling body and fruit. It has a complex appley palate with floral notes and a good lingering finish.
As one of the newest additions to the family, Imperial Cyder is already winning awards and at 8.2% ABV its a cyder to savour for the true connoisseur. Dark and golden in colour, Imperial has a rich aroma and lingering sweet mellow finish.
Another new addition to the family, Lady Jennifer''s is named in honour of Mrs Chevallier Guild, the wife of the 7th generation of Clement.
Tasting Notes: Pale to mid straw in colour, Lady Jennifer''s has a fresh, clean floral aroma with a pleasing apple tasting finish that is light with a slightly sweet palate.
Tasting Notes: Perronelle''s Blush has a subtle blackberry aroma with a hint of traditional cyder apple. Deceptively smooth with a silky but refreshing palate, it offers a perfect bend of sweetness and acidity with a lovely mouth feel and a lingering aftertaste of berries.
Our flagship cyder and the first of the re-launched range to go to market in 2000.
Tasting Notes: Of mid straw-gold colour with a clean, light aroma of dessert apples, Premier Cru is dry, round and creamy on the palate with a good acid balance, pleasant soft tannins and an elegant, long finish.
It has an attractive golden colour; a marked fruity aroma of traditional bittersweet cyder apple, with floral and spicy overtones.
Tasting Notes: The palate is rich, initially full and slightly sweet, with a good balancing acidity and a pronounced astringency followed by a very long dry finish.
