The Goddard Arms freehouse is in a Domesday village in the heart of the countryside, just 10 minutes from Royal Wootton Bassett and from junction 16 on the M4. Renovated throughout, we have an aviation theme in keeping with the rich heritage of this area. All eras of flight are covered, from pictures and propellers, and even an ejector seat!
We have real ales on draught and serve a constantly changing range from local breweries, as well as ciders and perrys, which makes us unrivalled in the area. Our off licence also lets you choose from a wide selection of bottled beers.
Overlooking thatched cottages and watching horses go by, you can soak up the atmosphere of one of the oldest pubs in Wiltshire, whilst enjoying freshly made hot and cold snacks, and homemade cream teas and cakes.
Our old fashioned pub still has both a public and lounge bar which means we have ideal meeting places for clubs and societies, please contact us for more information.
Whilst the pub is closed in the evening, it can be booked for groups of 10 or more people with a deposit.
