Jamaica Wine House

A dog friendly pub serving food with WiFi in London.

Tucked away in St Michael’s Alley, part of a labyrinth of charming medieval courts and alleys off Cornhill and Lombard Street, the Jamaica Wine House was originally London’s first coffee house, which opened in 1652 and counted Samuel Pepys among its earliest patrons. Open from Monday to Friday, the pub, known locally as “The Jampot”, is the perfect venue for City workers to meet or to relax and for tourists to soak up the atmosphere and history of the Square Mile.
