The new look Commercial has retained traditional features but now has a contemporary style, we have made it comfortable, inviting and we welcome everyone.
The village needed a different concept therefore we decided to take this upon ourselves to make it a place for locals and tourists alike. It is the first combined ‘Real Ale House & Wine Bar’ in Slaithwaite, hosting 8 Hand Pulled Real Ales, 1 of which is our House Ale ‘Commerciale’ and is brewed on our doorstep by our local brewer at Empire Brewing plus we have a Hand Pulled Traditional Cider. We also have a wide selection of Wines, Coffee’s and many other drinks to suit all tastes.
The Commercial is in an ideal central location sitting alongside the Huddersfield Narrow Canal in this attractive, Pennine, waterfront village. You can sit on the terrace, to the front of the pub and watch the narrow boats go by.
Slaithwaite is easily accessible by road, rail and even by canal.
