Courage Directors Bitter 4.8 The Eagle Brewery

This premium cask ale has a strong following throughout the country. Courage Directors was originally brewed exclusively for the Directors of the Alton brewery, but following public demand, the beer was made available to the public.

Tasting Notes: It is genuine premium beer, pale brown in appearance with a deep rich taste.

Double Chocolate Stout 5.2 The Eagle Brewery

A full, rounded stout, this beer has been a quadruple winner at the Brewing Industry International Awards.

Tasting Notes:

Foster's 3.7 Heineken

Foster's is the ultimate ice-cold refreshment. Its balance of subtle fruitiness and vanilla is ideal for the sweeter-toothed lager lover. The perfect session beer to enjoy with mates.

Tasting Notes: A light-coloured lager style, it presents full malt character with a balanced clean hop bitterness. Combined with a slightly hoppy, but yeasty/malty nose, Foster's lager is a full bodied beer with excellent drinkability.

Kew Gold 4.8 The Eagle Brewery

Inspired by hops grown at the Royal Botanical Gardens, Kew. Kew Gold is light, golden and full-flavoured with a refreshing bite.

Tasting Notes: Kew Gold is a 100% malt brew with English Lager malt with Styrian hops. It is an unpasteurised, living beer, matured in the bottle for a fuller, more complex, multi-dimensional, fresher taste. With no artificial carbonation, the only fizz is the natural effervescence created by fermentation.

Leffe Blonde 6.6 Leffe

Leffe Blond is an authentic blond abbey beer with a slight hint of bitterness to it.

Tasting Notes:

Ram Rod 5.0 The Eagle Brewery

Pale brown, fruity, vinous, hoppy beer and packed full of flavour, Ram Rod is a good example of a medium strong beer.

Tribute 4.2 St Austell Brewery

Tribute is an easy drinking pale ale.

Tasting Notes: Fresh, Orange, Grapefruit The zesty orange and grapefruit flavours are balanced with biscuit malt. The beer of South West sport, Tribute has high profile shirt sponsorships with Somerset and Gloucester CCCs as well as close relationships with both Football League clubs Plymouth and Exeter City. Tribute is also the Official Beer of South West Rugby and supports many rugby teams in the region with shirt sponsorships, plus it is the main sponsor of the Cornwall RFU whose teams are the current County Champions and holders of the Bill Beaumont Cup. We were also thrilled in 2015 for Tribute to be the main sponsor of Bristol Balloon Fiesta and in 2016 Tribute will again be a high profile partner of this wonderful event. All told, there is plenty to look forward to for Tribute in the coming year.

Waggle Dance 4.0 The Eagle Brewery

Named after the dance a bee does to alert the hive to the presence of nectar, this beer is made with Fair Trade South American honey.

Tasting Notes:

Wells Banana Bread Beer (Bottle) 5.2 The Eagle Brewery

This dark golden coloured ale hugs the palate with great intensity. Its malty aroma is complemented by the gentle nose of Banana.

Tasting Notes: Its flavour unfolds with a sensual sparkle and a smart crispness, which balances its aroma perfectly. Tropically fruity; its ripe banana flavour, emphasised by a hint of bitterness, comes from the addition of real fair trade bananas and finishes with an emphatic, steely dryness.

Winter Warmer 5.0 The Eagle Brewery

The definitive winter beer and a long-time Young’s favourite, Winter Warmer is a champion cask ale that is an essential warmer during the winter months.

Tasting Notes: Rich ruby coloured beer, almost red in bright light. Complex fruity nose with hints of candy. Luscious and full bodied, with a powerful mouth-coating flavour leading to a bittersweet, vinous finish.

Young's Bitter 3.7 The Eagle Brewery

With 175 years of history, this bitter was the first cask beer to carry the Red Tractor logo – proving we use the highest quality barley.
