The Hunt Lodge was built in approximately 1850 and it first enjoyed tremendous popularity in the 1930’s when Edward VIII and Mrs Simpson would stay whilst hunting with the Whaddon Chase. Today, this Grade 2 listed building is a privately owned, family run bed and breakfast which overlooks parkland and is adjacent to a fine example of an early Victorian Church, which was built in 1849.
