The Lamb

A child and dog friendly pub serving food with WiFi and a garden in Chiswick.

It takes a bit of character to stand out in the Chiswick High Road area, so here at The Lamb, we're pleased to have it in platefuls – and not just in our seasonal pub-food and craft beers. The character of our pub is proudly reflected in the warmth of our wood and copper furnishings, while our beer garden is really something to write home about, should you feel so inclined. The lovely spaces of Turnham Green and Chiswick Common are on our doorstep, too, so you can work up an appetite with a walk as you admire the scenery.

Budvar Dark 4.7 Budweiser Budvar

This beer is brewed from three different kinds of barley malts.

Tasting Notes: Dark Declared Best Lager in the World in this year's World Beer Awards, run by Beers of the World magazine, Budweiser Budvar Dark is a retro-beer. This is because it has been designed to come as close as possible to how all Bohemian and Bavarian lagers tasted before bottom fermented golden lager stole the show in the mid nineteenth century. Now, thanks to Budweiser Budvar, the Darkside is moving centre stage again. Enjoying the same brewing cycle as Original, Dark gets its delicious roasted flavour from being brewed from three types of malt; Munich, caramel and roasted.

Guinness Draught 4.2 Diageo

Rich and creamy. Distinctive, Ruby Red colour. Velvety in its finish. This iconic beer was developed in 1959 and launched as a celebration of the 200 years anniversary of Arthur Guinness signing his 9,000-year lease.

Tasting Notes: Aroma: Sweet smelling with a coffee and malty nose
Flavour: Perfect balance of bitter and sweet with malt and roast characters Palate: Smooth, creamy and balanced

Pravha 4.0 Staropramen

Pravha was created by the legendary brewers of Staropramen, who were inspired to create a lighter tasting pilsner.

Tribute 4.2 St Austell Brewery

Tribute is an easy drinking pale ale.

Tasting Notes: Fresh, Orange, Grapefruit The zesty orange and grapefruit flavours are balanced with biscuit malt. The beer of South West sport, Tribute has high profile shirt sponsorships with Somerset and Gloucester CCCs as well as close relationships with both Football League clubs Plymouth and Exeter City. Tribute is also the Official Beer of South West Rugby and supports many rugby teams in the region with shirt sponsorships, plus it is the main sponsor of the Cornwall RFU whose teams are the current County Champions and holders of the Bill Beaumont Cup. We were also thrilled in 2015 for Tribute to be the main sponsor of Bristol Balloon Fiesta and in 2016 Tribute will again be a high profile partner of this wonderful event. All told, there is plenty to look forward to for Tribute in the coming year.
