Formerly O'Neills : The Railway Tavern was known in 1855 as The Railway Hotel, one of several pubs in the famous Quadrant of Richmond. In Victorian days the pub also offered rooms to its patrons, perhaps for sleep after one too many at the bar – or for those catching an early train. Today, the rooms have gone, but the pub remains and has been restored to its former glory. In fact, it's the perfect railway waiting room.
