We’ve been smartening up our act and with some great new drinks, including a premium gin range and a cracking new menu. Why don’t you pop down and take a look?
The Sir John Balcombe is a hidden gem of a pub right on your doorstep.
We are the perfect place for a relaxing drink after work, a quick lunch or even a private party or meeting in our air-conditioned private basement room complete with its own bar. We have free WiFi too so you can keep in touch.

New to the Swan is our Stone Baked Pizza Oven where we prepare a variety of fresh pizzas, breads and desserts to enjoy with a nice glass of wine or a quality local real ale.

In a rush? We offer a take away service too, so you can enjoy our pizzas from the comfort of your own home!

Whether you are in the mood to put your feet up and enjoy a freshly prepared bar snack, treat the family to an excellent dining experience or sip champagne next to the river, we all look forward to seeing you soon.

We're really proud of our food. All dishes are made to order and are prepared on site using fresh ingredients.

We are proud to announce the addition of a superb new range of hand formed, stone baked pizzas cooked in our brand new specialist pizza oven.

The dough is shaped by hand, carefully topped with your choice of ingredients and cooked at a searing 325 degrees C - the result is a perfect thin and crispy pizza, hot and fresh.

Either enjoy them served on our slate boards in our bars, conservatory or in the patio garden or order as a take away to enjoy at home.

On our menu you'll find all your old favourites alongside come more contemporary dishes. Why not try our popular steak & ale pie, hand battered fish and chips or one of our amazing gourmet burgers.

Gluten free - we are now able to adapt most of our main menu to suit a gluten free diet and now we are very proud to serve all of our fantastic pizzas on a gluten free base.

If you’re only peckish, we have lighter options for lunchtimes – all your favourites are there including seasonal salads, small starters and delicious filled sandwiches. We also have lots of options for vegetarians

We now offer a 2 or 3 course set menu Monday until Thursday between 12-3pm & 6-9pm. This changes weekly so view our Facebook page for this weeks menu or click to view a sample menu.
