Welcome to The White Hart

If you're looking for a relaxed friendly pub/restaurant then this is the place for you. We are situated in one of the most beautiful villages just outside of Colchester where we have a safe and child friendly garden with a brand new play area and ample seating. There is also a custom made BBQ that we will make the most of in the summer and for those colder winter months there are two open log fires inside. We have spacious eating areas in our restaurant where our tasty, traditional menu is served. Traditional board games and playing cards are on hand for your entertainment in our family friendly environment.

We have four cask ales available as well as lagers, ciders, Guinness and a selection of wines and spirits to cater for everyone's taste.

Carlsberg is a Pilsner style lager originating from Copenhagen, Denmark. Carlsberg is light, easy drinking and refreshing. The all malt recipe and Carlsberg yeast strain gives the balance between body and depth of flavour and a clean refreshing palate. Tasting Notes: Carlsberg is a pale blonde Danish pilsner style lager, with a flowery subtle aroma, and hoppy fruity flavours with a soft lingering finish.

Cruzcampo is a pilsner style Spanish lager founded in Seville in 1904. Brewed with subtle hoppy notes, fruity characteristics and finished with Cruzcampo bitterness. It’s a fresh, crisp, easy drinking beer and a favourite amongst Spanish locals. Tasting Notes:

Ghost Ship is inspired by one of Adnams’ most haunted pubs in one of the UK’s most haunted villages, the Bell at Walberswick.It's a Pale Ale with a pithy bitterness and a malty backbone. Brewed with a selection of malts – Pale Ale, Rye Crystal and Cara – Adnams use Citra and a blend of other American hop varieties to create some great citrus flavours
